Nest Time — Privacy Policy

Nest Time is built to be a calm, gentle app. That extends to your data: we don’t collect anything personal, and there’s no analytics, ads, tracking, or third-party SDKs of any kind. This page is short on purpose.

What Nest Time stores

Nest Time stores a small amount of data on your device and in your iCloud account:

• The number of taps on your current egg, so progress survives between sessions.
• The active egg’s id, so you don’t lose your egg when you close the app.
• A list of creatures you’ve hatched (species id, count, first-hatched date), so your collection persists.
• Your nest-session settings (last duration, notifications on/off).

This data is stored locally via @AppStorage and synced via Apple’s iCloud Key-Value Store only between your own devices. It never leaves your iCloud account. We — the developer — never see it, receive it, or have any way to access it.

What Nest Time does NOT do

• ❌ No analytics or tracking of any kind.
• ❌ No advertising. No ad networks. No ad SDKs.
• ❌ No accounts, no logins, no email collection.
• ❌ No third-party SDKs.
• ❌ No data sold or shared with anyone.
• ❌ No remote servers — everything runs on your device.

Notifications

If you enable nest-session notifications, Nest Time schedules a local notification on your device for the moment your session completes. This notification is generated and delivered entirely on your device — no remote push servers are involved, and no notification provider receives any data about you. You can disable notifications anytime in iOS Settings.

Children

Nest Time is suitable for users of all ages. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect no personal information from children either.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear at this URL with an updated “Last updated” date.
